CONCEPTUAL EVENTS are innovative participatory action research processes and include health service providers, policy makers, faith-based leaders and various others from communities. They contribute to a calculated agreement.
As a result of conceptual events, an interfaith theology of HIV/AIDS surfaced – resulting in the proposition that a ‘spiritualized condom’ emerge. Through this process, faith-based leaders from different religions background were able to agree that condom use protects the innocent and is a moral and religious requirement—regardless of ‘sin.’
