Improving noncommunicable disease management in Uganda

While most health concerns in the Developing World focus on communicable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria, noncommunicable diseases are becoming a growing concern. Diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular and lung disease are causing a major increase in deaths in low and middle-income countries, including those found in Sub-Saharan Africa.
