Soil fertility decline in Sub-Saharan African Prompts Climate Adaptation Project

A two-day regional workshop in Nairobi, Kenya focused on decline of soil fertility, which could worsen food security in an area where over 80 per cent of the population depends on agriculture. Further topics included erosion, water scarcity and inappropriate farming practices as additional main challenges.
